Frozen Yogurt Popsicles

June 24, 2021

I absolutely adore popsicles. Ok. Maybe adore isn’t the right terminology to use here. But I do like them. A lot. But why buy them when they’re so full of sugar and other random junk that isn’t good for your body?.

I’ve been making popsicles for a long time and I have to say that with all the different options you can use for homemade ones I’d never go back to store bought. It’s just that fun and easy to make them! Plus they’re much healthier. I’ll take that. 🙌

I like knowing what goes in my body and popsicles are no exception. I love coming in from a hot, summer day outside and being able to grab a treat that cools me off and tastes delicious at the same time. 😋

These blueberries and cream popsicles do just that. They’re super creamy with alternate layers of blueberries. Numnumnum. 😁

I actually didn’t use any measuring cups to make this. I just kinda guessed as I went along. With only 4 ingredients, who needs a recipe? 😉

I’ll write down what I used and you can decide how much you want to use for your own.

Enjoy. 😊

Ingredients

  • Greek Yogurt (or yogurt of choice)
  • Heavy Whipping Cream
  • Blueberries (Fresh or frozen)
  • Vanilla

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix together the yogurt and cream until its a consistency you can pour and there’s no lumps. Stir in vanilla.
  2. In a blender, put in about 2-3 cups blueberries, fresh or frozen. Add enough water to make the blueberry puree easy to pour. Blend until pureed.
  3. Pour the yogurt/cream mixture in alternate layers into popsicle molds. Freeze until solid.
  4. To remove easily, gently pour a little bit of hot water around the outside of the molds. Squeeze and remove from the mold.
